Tartan Details - Cornish Countryside

The information held within The Scottish Register of Tartans for the "Cornish Countryside" tartan is shown below.

Reference: 10240
Designer: Rowse, Michael A
Tartan date: 01/02/2010
Registration date: 15 July 2010
Category: District
Restrictions: Yes.
Right to weave reserved to www.scotweb.co.uk.

Not sure about this but I used the Scotweb design tool to make the tartan.
Registration notes: The tartan represents the Cornish countryside and its people. Colours: black and white represent the flag of St Pirran, the Cornish flag; black and gold represent the flag of the ancient Celtic kings and feature srongly as Cornish colours; deep dark brown and green represent the countryside of the county, the colour of a freshly ploughed field and winter leaves in the hedgerow; the red represents the Cornish bloodline be it ever so fine. The tartan was designed for Cornish people to wear with pride, but it should not be restricted: anyone who has connections to Cornwall or who simply loves the county should be welcome to wear the tartan. It is also for those who prefer a more 'subdued' set of colours to those used in the Cornish National Tartan, or for those who prefer a more 'country feel' as an alternative to the Cornish Hunting Tartan.
