Registration notes:	The Kinloch Anderson Rowanberry Tartan is one of the Kinloch Anderson collection of tartans, all of which are based on the sett of the original Kinloch Anderson tartan. It introduces four shades of red and a golden yellow overcheck. In Scotland the rowan tree’s berries are red whereas in Asia there are some species where the berries are a golden yellow. The tree is famed for its hardiness and ability to survive in the mountains as well as its long and interesting history and mythology. In Scotland it is called rudha-an, meaning 'red one'.

Woven Sample:	A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
