Category: Corporate

Registration notes: Augustine United Church (AUC) is a diverse, progressive Christian congregation of the United Reformed Church. The colours of the tartan were inspired by the church’s two stained glass windows by noted glass designer Robert Burns (1869-1941). They interweave over a rich green background intended to represent the congregation’s commitment to raising environmental concerns (AUC is an eco-congregation) and justice issues more broadly. The tartan was created in the year that AUC marked the 160th anniversary of its building on George IV Bridge in Edinburgh.
