Registration notes: The colours for this tartan were chosen to compliment the Sheriff's Office uniform. The grey, white and blue stripe pattern is a reference to the stripe pattern painted on the sides of Sheriff’s Office vehicles. Black is the colour of mourning for fallen officers. Grey represents security and reliability. Gold stands for the gold of the badge. Blue symbolizes law enforcement and the State of Oregon. White represents purity of purpose.
