Restrictions: Yes. This tartan can be worn by members of the Sarnia Legion Pipe Band. If anyone else would like to wear the tartan please contact Burnett's & Struth Scottish Regalia and we will seek permission to wear the tartan on your behalf.
This tartan can not be woven without the written permission of the City of Sarnia. This can be applied for through Burnett's & Struth Scottish Regalia Ltd.
Registration notes: The colours of this tartan are drawn from the City of Sarnia coat of arms and the pattern is inspired by the MacKenzie tartan (Canada's second Prime Minister, Sir Alexander MacKenzie, came from Sarnia). The tartan will be unveiled and announced by the Mayor during the celebrations for Sarnia's centennial year in 2014. It will be worn by the Sarnia Legion Pipe Band.
