Registration notes: Designed by Marilyn Chircoski, Fran Côté and Helen Deneault. The Iroquois Falls Centenary tartan was designed in 2012 to commemorate the founding of the community of Iroquois Falls, located in the Boreal Forest of Northern Ontario, Canada. Nature surrounds this community and the colours chosen for the tartan reflect this. The two shades of green represent the trees of the Boreal Forest, the two shades of blue are for our northern skies and our many lakes, the white is for our winter snow and the brown is for our claybelt agricultural soil.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
