Registration notes: Having ancestral roots in the MacLean clan, the distinctive MacLean of Duart tartan was used as a starting point for this tartan. Historically Mr Wardrope's family have mercenary connections and the red overchecks seen within the design represent swordsmanship and military aptitude.
