Registration notes: A corporate tartan for the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Students in the School of Fashion Design & Merchandising were challenged to create a dynamic and versatile tartan to represent VCU’s proud heritage. The winning design using the official school colours of black and gold was chosen by students and staff, and characterises VCU’s proud heritage and the strong spirit of its athletic teams, the VCU Rams.
