Registration notes: This tartan was designed to celebrate the wedding in Scotland of the designer and his wife on the 17th May 2016. Bruma, the Portuguese word for mist is associated with the island of Madeira, Portugal, the designer’s home. The red crossed lines symbolise the cross of the Knights Templar or "Order of Christ" based on 16th century Portuguese discoveries, and the subtle colour shades represent Madeira.
