Registration notes: A tartan for the small town of Blain in Brittany, based on the Bro-Naoned tartan with the addition of a black and white cross to represent Brittany’s historic flag, the Kroaz Du, Breton Knights and Blain Castle, one of many castles on the boundary between the Duchy of Brittany and the Kingdom of France.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
