Yellow features prominently each day with 350 days of sunshine per year and throughout the 9 miles of sandy coastline; green showcases the vibrancy of life in the 162 citywide parks; red represents the sunrise and sunsets which streak through the sky; situated on the coast, blue represents the surrounding ocean and the city’s title of the "Aquatic Capital of the US."
