Registration notes: World Fair Trade tartan has been created by Tania Pramschufer, Director, Hand Up Events with the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) in mind, to support fair trade crafts makers and designers around the globe and to serve as a legacy to Scotland as a Fair Trade nation. Hand Up Events exists to platform and promote fair trade through events and networking to benefit fair trade producers around the world. The tartan launched on World Fair Trade Day 2017 with Rudi Dalvai, President of the World Fair Trade Organisation in attendance at Fair Trade Fiesta. The aim to develop products using the tartan with WFTO members. This tartan is designed for anyone to wear.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
