Registration notes: Designed for Hall, a small village in the north of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), that sits on the border of New South Wales. Colours: dark blue represents the ACT, Canberra flag and the association to the Australian National Flag; lime green represents the colours worn today by the “Canberra Raiders” Rugby League Team in addition to the original referred colours, light blue represents the protected native species “The Royal Blue Bell” the floral emblem of the ACT; yellow represents the flag of the ACT on which the Coat of Arms is displayed; blue and yellow represent the traditional heraldic sporting colours of the ACT and the Hall Primary School established in 1911; black represents the Viking emblem displayed by the Canberra Raiders; white symbolically represents the Southern Cross Constellation, unique to and viewed only in the Southern Hemisphere.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
