Registration notes: Saint Andrew’s Society of Sacramento was organised in 1983 as a non-profit charitable society. The mission of the society is to promote and perpetuate Scottish culture by providing grants and scholarships to support education, music, arts, and other charitable activities. The Brotherhood of its members is informed by their proven lineage to Scotland. On 30 January 2015, Lord Lyon King of Arms granted the society arms. The tartan is a representation of the colours found in the arms.
