Registration notes: Designed for the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Corps. The Corps Colours are dark blue, yellow and red, a combination of the colours taken from the existing colours of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC), Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) and Royal Engineers (RE) respectively when the REME were first formed.
