Registration notes: This tartan has been designed to support and enhance the GREAT Campaign. This is the Government’s International Marketing Campaign to showcase the very best of what Britain has to offer in business, tourism and education. The colours of the tartan reflect the Union Jack, the British flag, and also relate to the Brand image which has been created for this Campaign led by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The sett is based on the Royal Stewart tartan making a connection with the British Royal Family. The design also reflects aspects of the Royal Warrant Holders Association tartan which was designed by Kinloch Anderson in 1994.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
