Registration notes: The Tukkerclan tartan was designed to celebrate the friendship between a group of football friends from Stranraer, Scotland and Enschede, Holland which started eleven years ago when two men gave up their tickets for a young man’s dying wish to go an Old Firm game. Many return trips were made and 2010 Dutch champions FC Twente Enschede set up coaching clinics for Stranraer youth three times over the last six years and played a friendly match in 2017 bringing with them 400 fans. FC Twente gained great popularity in Stranraer and the supporters’ club Tukkerclan Stranraer was established. The word Tukker refers to the inhabitants of the region of Twente. Colours: red is for FC Twente Enschede, black and green for the two clubs from which Twente was formed; blue is for Scotland/Stranraer and the three white lines represent Sportclub, boys and Scotland/Stranraer who carry this colour in their kit.
