Registration notes: This tartan is dedicated to the memory of Margaret Theresa Kane, a great friend of this tartan’s designer, Moira Dalgetty. “Margaret was a much-loved person and teacher, a gifted seamstress and craftswoman who loved tartan. She is the inspiration for this tartan.” Over 11,000 people in Scotland had MS in 2018. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. It’s often painful, exhausting and can cause problems with how people with this condition walk, move, see, think and feel. This tartan will be used to raise awareness and funds for this condition and allow the Society and its supporters to show their Scottish pride whilst taking part in events, speaking to Members of the Scottish Parliament and generally representing the MS Community visually.
