Registration notes:	This tartan has been commissioned by Anshu Bahanda as a 50th Birthday gift to her husband Sundeep, from herself and their two daughters Anunya and Amaara. The design is based on the City of London sett which has been the base of the Bahanda family for over 25 years and is also the place of birth of their two daughters. The grey base of the design keeps in line with the City of London tartan as this has remained a very important location and base for their family, and is also Mr Bahanda’s favourite colour. The green and red overlay has been taken from the City of Glasgow tartan to represent the birth city of Mr Bahanda and also the place of his education. Red is also Anshu Bahanda’s favourite colour. Whilst the saffron (represented by yellow) and green overlays are representative of the Indian flag and play homage to the Bahanda family roots, heritage and culture.

Woven Sample:	A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
