Registration notes: This tartan is based on the Australia tartan sett as the family is from the area of Strathbogie, Melbourne, Victoria. The colours of the sett have been altered to those considered to reflect their family home on the Allanvale Estate: green is of the fields, blue for the river; red for the sunsets and the red earth, and yellow for the sun. The black has been included from the bumblebee logo of the country estate itself. The number 3, visible in both blue and green, has been incorporated into the design to represent each of the children in the Beddison family. Whilst the black is a count of 20, yellow a count of 3 followed by green in a count of 76 to signify Mr & Mrs Beddison’s wedding date of 20th March 1976.
