Registration notes: Commissioned by West Japan Railway Company as a part of the 'Setouchi palette' project which aims to revitalise the Setouchi area, a region in south-west Japan. It is intended to be shared with local residents to encourage communication, tourism and business among the regional community. The colours were inspired by the area of Okayama: blue from the sea: white from the cotton flowers: pink from the peach and green from the muscat grapes.
