Registration notes: The Tartan Terrors are an international Celtic Rock band based out of Toronto, Canada. The group was founded by professional dancer and theatrical entertainer siblings, Ellen and Ian Irmisch. The name is inspired by their childhood Highland Dance group, “The Wee Tartan Terrors”. In August of 2019, Ellen lost her fight with Cancer. The band designed this tartan to represent their love and loss: light blue represents Ellen's eyes; white represents her light; dark blue represents the Tartan Terror Family, the performers and fans inspired by Ellen's lifelong devotion to humanity and the arts; the black background denotes our collective mourning for their lost leader.
