Registration notes: This tartan was designed for Daniel and Shannon Lyle and is intended to reflect their life together, the family they created and raised and their connection with their Scottish roots including their connection to the Lyle family, Duchal Castle and the Maxton family. The tartan has been designed to represent various elements of their Scottish ancestry through the choice of colours: brown for their family roots in Scotland; light green for the meadows where the family first flourished; dark red, gold and black to represent their Clans; blue for the waters that nourished the meadows and purple for the heather of Scotland.
