Registration notes: This tartan has been designed for the Chartered Banker Institute (formerly the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland) to mark the importance of Green Finance and to highlight Scotland and the UK’s contribution to this issue at the COP26 Climate Summit in Glasgow in November 2021. The design takes inspiration from elements of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland tartan and the Hay tartan. Sir Roger Gifford is the Chair of the Green Finance Institute and Gifford is a sept of the Hay Clan. Shades of green are used to represent Green Finance and the environment, blue and white for Scotland and gold for banking and finance.
