Restrictions:	Yes. This tartan is intended to be worn only by members of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, honorary members, and those individuals to whom, from time to time, the fraternity may grant written permission.
Registration notes:	A tartan for the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity based on their history and coat-of-arms. The three main colours are those of the fraternity; purple, green, and yellow. The pivot of red and white is intended to represent the colours of Boston University. The three yellow lines represent the three stars forming a delta around the clasped hands from the Coat of Arms: the outer yellow lines are 4 threads representing the pearls on each arm of the crescent and the inner purple and yellow lines total 11 threads symbolising the stones in the Lambda on the badge. The black and white lines represent the white rose, Theta Kappa Nu and the escutcheon. The three sets of lines represent the Creed and the purple represents the five pillars of the fraternity. The three fields of green represent the three “stages” of brotherhood; Associate, Active Brother and Alumni.

Woven Sample:	A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
