Registration notes: Biltmore Forest Country Club was established in 1922 by the Vanderbilt family in Biltmore Forest, North Carolina. This tartan was created to commemorate the club’s centennial birthday on July 4th, 2022. The design is intended to bring the different aspects of its history into one piece. In 1921, the club hired Scottish Donald Ross to be the architect of the golf course, which has always been the centrepiece of the club, and this tartan is intended to honour him. The design takes aspects of the Ross tartan and ties it in with the club colours of royal blue and white. The other colours within the tartan are used throughout the club. Biltmore Forest County Club collaborated with Seamus Golf to create this tartan.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
