Restrictions:	Yes. Intended to be worn/used by those authorised by the copyright holder George Barlow or his appointed agents and officials from the Broome County administration. Cannot be offered for sale or produced in any commercial form without the express permission of the copyright holder George Barlow.
Registration notes:	Based on the Old Stewart tartan, the focal point of three green bands on blue is for the sprigs of broom in the county seal - which in turn were taken from the original Broome coat of arms. Also from the County Seal is the yellow which, together with brown and green represents the rich farming land and afforestation that attracted so many early settlers. Red is for the early Iroquois and Mohawk indigenous populations that were the subject of George Washington's letter to all colonists to treat the "red man" with the same respect and dignity as they showed to each other. The white line through brown represents that historic letter kept under lock and key in the vault of the Broome County Public Library. The actual date of the founding of Broome County, 28th March 1806, is woven into the thread counts of the green, blue and yellow focal point.
