Only to be woven by a supplier commissioned by Kinloch Anderson Ltd.
Registration notes: This corporate tartan has been designed for Kilcamb Lodge in Strontian. The Hotel’s location inspired the design. The Lochaber district tartan was used as a starting point. Colours: grey represents the granite stonework of the Hotel and the area’s historical lead and Strontium mines; blue is for the sea and with white is intended to represent the Saltire; purple is for the flora of Scotland’s West Coast and the shades of brown celebrate the landscape of the nearby Ariundle Nature Reserve and the local wildlife which includes sea otters, eagles and pine martens.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
