Registration notes: This tartan was inspired by native Florida wildlife which are active during springtime. There are six colours which are intended to represent: the pine hyacinth, Clematis baldwinii; the poppy-like flowers of the prickly pear cactus, Opuntia humifusa, the most common native Florida cactus; and the colours found on the intelligent Florida Scrub Jay, the only bird unique to the state.
