Registration notes: The tartan was commissioned by Stephen Anderson to mark his daughter Kathleen’s wedding in 2021 and as a tribute to her grandmother, Jane Anderson, who turned 90 in the same year. The colours reflect the wedding outfits of the Anderson family brides through the years: two shades of blue and cream, and the grey of Jane’s going-away suit. The further two colours are black to represent the school colour of the primary that the members of the Anderson family attended and burnt orange for Kathleen’s red hair. The colours in the tartan are intended to bring together memorable times from the Anderson family’s history.
