Registration notes: |
Scottish Arts, Inc has been a staple of the New England Scottish culture since 1984, originally formed in Massachusetts by Lezlie Webster, spouse to Gordon Webster, Piper to the Sovereign (1995-98). Scottish Arts, Inc continued to grow and expand, offering lessons in piping, fiddle, drumming and Highland Dance, holding true to the roots of the Scottish arts. This tartan was designed for celebrations in 2023, 20 years since establishing the organisation in New Hampshire. Each colour chosen is intended to represent an aspect of Lezlie Webster including: red for Canada, country of her birth; purple for the thistle, Scotland and her heritage; blue, white and yellow to represent her vast knowledge of the arts, personality and her years in Highland Dance and light green for the forests of her home in New Hampshire. |
