Permission to produce in any form must be sought from the Open University.
Registration notes: A tartan for the Open University in Scotland (OUiS). The colours of the tartan were chosen to match the colours being used by the university’s brand. The tartan was created after the OUiS purchased a black dog, Maxwell or his full kennel name ‘Maximum Wellbeing’, from the charity SANE for their Staff Development programme. The tartan was designed to be used for the coat for Maxwell, who was named by their staff to symbolise their commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of staff and students. It is intended for the tartan to also be used at OUiS events.
