Prepared for weaving by The House of Edgar, a division of McNaughton Holdings Ltd.

Registration notes: The Baja-wala tartan, Punjabi for ‘Music (Sound) Maker’, was created to mark the association between Indian and Scottish traditions at weddings, including an Indian bagpipe band playing during the groom’s procession to the bride’s house after a wedding. The colours are intended to represent the flags of India and Scotland to mark the the introduction of the Highland Bagpipe to the Indian subcontinent by the Highland Regiments of the British Army in the 19th century.
