Registration notes: Caledonia Masonic Lodge #459, under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Kansas, designed the Kansas Freemasons tartan for the Grand Lodge, and through the Grand Lodge for all Masons of Kansas. Colours: blue represents the Blue Lodges of Masonry; three thin white stripes represent the three degrees of Blue Lodge Masonry; yellow is for the sunflower, which is the state flower of Kansas, and for the Grand Lodge of Kansas; brown is intended to represent the bison that once roamed Kansas; the thin black stripe is included in remembrance and the thin green stripe is for Scottish Masonry and its strong influence on Caledonia Lodge.
