Use of this tartan to produce various items, garments, clothing, all manner of products etc, for retail and is restricted to Tartan Manor Ltd. No other person or company will have that right. Weaving is restricted to those approved by Tartan Manor Ltd. This design was registered with the UK IPO on 21 January 2024, registration number: 6341119.
Registration notes:	The Royal Horse Artillery tartan is intended to celebrate all past and present personnel, and achievements attached to the Royal Horse Artillery since its formation in 1793. The Royal Regiment of Artillery created a mounted branch to provide mobile fire support to fast-moving cavalry units. Initially formed of two troops, this new unit was known as the Royal Horse Artillery (RHA). The Royal Horse Artillery tartan features historical colours associated with them: dark blue is intended to represent their beret; blue and yellow signifies the colours of their stable belt and black is for continual respect for all fallen Royal Horse Artillery comrades. Their motto is 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense' meaning ‘Shame on him who thinks evil of it’.
