Registration notes: The Trading Bay Grouse and Trout Club was founded by Lake of Bays cottager Matthew Gaasenbeek and friends in 2009 to bring together like-minded friends who have a shared passion for their lake, cottage lifestyle and protection of nature and the environment on Lake of Bays, Muskoka region, Ontario, Canada. The colours in the tartan are intended to represent the following: grey and pink are for Muskoka granite; green is for the moss found on the Muskoka rock and the trees in the area; light blue is for the sky; dark blue is for the lake and white is for the colour of the sand on the local beach.
