Registration notes: Designed in the 1980s by J. Wallace Reid of McLean, Washington, USA. Entries #5415 and #2066 and #4079 (original Scottish Tartans Authority references) are obviously meant to be the same tartan but which variation came first is not known at this stage. #2066 (original Scottish Tartans Authority reference) seems to be the most widely accepted.

The registration criteria now applied by the Register conforms to the Scottish Register of Tartans Act 2008. These criteria are different to those previously applied by either the STA or the STWR. You may wish to refer to the STA website for further information on the original recording of this tartan.
