Registration notes: This tartan was commissioned by Stephanie Jordan, of Edgewater, Maryland,in commemoration of her father, Robert Lee Jordan. The Jordan name became popular as a baptismal name in Scotland after the Crusades, and later became a surname. The red cross on a white field was the symbol of the crusaders and is reflected by the red and white in this tartan.
