Registration notes:	Designed by Lynda Helen Anne (nee Brooks) Conquergood c1982 and registered with the STS on 20 Jan 1991. Count from 'Tartans (1999) by Johnston/Smith. In Feb 2010 - Dr Phil Smith advised that it is for all of the name Conquergood. The Conquergood family emigrated to Canada in the mid-1800's from Roxburgh, with ancestors also in the Dunfermline area of Fife. All the Conquergoods in North America are descended from that line, and are proud of our Scottish heritage. Lynda created the Conquergood Tartan to honour that heritage. In 1990 the Conquergood family in Canada approved this tartan at their biennial family reunion held at Kelowna, British Columbia. The colours were chosen to be reflective of our Canadian environment, the blues of our lakes and sky, the white of the winter landscape and the dark colour of the sand and soil that has been worked by our family.
