Registration notes: The Swiss Highlander Pipes and Drums will perform at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2010. For this special event the band has created it's own tartan for the new uniforms. The players come from all over Switzerland; therefore the different colours of all the cantons form the background for the symbolized Swiss ensigns, wich dominate the tartan.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
