Restrictions: Yes. This tartan may only be used and woven by those authorised by the copyright holders "Cumnock Highland Games".

Registration notes: Based on the MacMillan hunting tartan in honour of the founder of the Cumnock Games, Councillor James McMillan. Colours: the blue is from the lion rampant in the Cumnock Arms; the orange and red commemorate the great iron ore blast furnaces at Lugar and the surrounding black is for the coal mines that fed those furnaces. Design approved by Cumnock Community Council.
