The family name originates in the North East of Scotland, with this particular branch of the family coming from Cove Bay near Aberdeen (though the name is also found in Torry and Footdee). The family is happy for anyone to wear this tartan, and invite prospective users to get in touch with Graeme Caie by emailing [email protected].
