Registration notes: The John Muir Way opened on 21st April 2014 tying in with the 100th anniversary of John Muir's death. The John Muir Way stretches between John Muir's birthplace in Dunbar to the waters of the Clyde at Helensburgh.John Muir the 19th century naturalist was born in Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland Colours: brown and green represent nature; red comes from the Dunbar Tartan; blue represents the sea and sky.
