Registration notes: The Hill 70 Tartan was designed in memory of the Canadian soldiers who fought to capture Hill 70 between 15 and 20 August 1917. It supports The Hill 70 Memorial / Le mémorial de la cote 70 to recognize the accomplishment and the national significance of the Canadian victory at Hill 70, in Flanders, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary in August 2017.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
