Reference: 11315
Designer: Clackson, Dr Stephen Gregory
Tartan date: 28/04/2015
Registration date: 1 July 2015
Category: Name

Registration notes: Designed by Dr Stephen Gregory Clackson in Orkney to commemorate the coming of age of his elder son and heir apparent Wulfric Kenneth Rainer on the 14th August 2015. This is the third in the series of Clackson tartans, the first two being the Clackson tartan (STR Ref #658) and the Aelfleda Arisaid (STR Ref #10936). It is based on the pattern of the latter with the colours rearranged to give a green field. (All its colours occur in the Clackson armorial bearings – which are matriculated in the Public Register of All Arms and Bearings in Scotland.)
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
