Registration notes: A tartan inspired by 'Mat the rabbit', a character created by Mat Kelman. This tartan is intended for use with 'Mat the rabbit' as his ancestral tartan, and also to promote the character as well as Mat Kelman's work. The name "Coinean Dubh" (meaning 'dark rabbit'), refers to Mat and his ancestors.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
