Registration notes: The idea for this design came from a currently serving member of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) who wished to have a tartan created. The tartan is not something that has been proposed as something the Navy would adopt for wear by its members. Rather, that the tartan would stand as a symbol of appreciation by members and supporters of the RCN. It is open to any and all that wish to show support for members, veterans, friends and family of the RCN.
