Registration notes: Designed by Christopher and Linzi Thompson, this tartan was created to mark the family’s renovation of Blackcraig Castle and also for the wedding of their eldest son, Christopher. The earthy tones were chosen to represent the countryside in which the castle is situated and the flash of blue to represent the family and its Scottish roots. Once woven, the tartan will be made into garments such as kilts, trews and dresses for use by the family.
