Registration notes: This tartan is named after an Irish/German club called Eirinn Caraidean, which is based in Leverkusen in Germany. The term Eirinn Caraidean is deemed to mean ‘Friends of Ireland’. The colours used represent the colours of the flags for Ireland, Germany and Leverkusen.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
