Authorisation must be sought from the designer and the manager of the event "United pipers for Peace", to weave this tartan.

Registration notes: This tartan commemorates July 7 and 8, 2018 when the “1918-2018 United Pipers for Peace” bring together more than 20 pipe bands in Amiens in France to pay tribute to the role, service and sacrifice of the soldiers and pipers who took part in the Battle of the Somme and the Great War. The tartan colours include red, white and black, which are the colours of the commemorative event and red for the poppy. Red, white and blue are also used to represent Amiens, where the event takes place.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
